Get USDC/USDT on Polygon (Step‑by‑Step)
Nova Mart runs payments on Polygon (chainId 137). To pay or receive funds you need USDC or USDT on Polygon and a tiny amount of POL/MATIC for gas. Follow one of the options below.
Option A — Withdraw from an Exchange (Easiest)
- Open your exchange (Binance/KuCoin/OKX/Coinbase, etc.).
- Choose the token: USDC or USDT.
- Tap Withdraw, then paste your wallet Polygon address (from Trust Wallet → “MATIC/Polygon” → Receive → Copy).
- Set Network to Polygon / MATIC (137). Do not choose Ethereum, BSC, or zkEVM.
- Send a small test first (e.g., $1). Wait for it to arrive, then send the rest.
Option B — Bridge from another network
If your USDC/USDT is on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, etc., bridge it to Polygon.
- Open bungee.exchange/bridge (recommended) or the official Polygon Bridge.
- Connect the wallet that holds your tokens.
- From: your current chain → To: Polygon. Token: USDC or USDT.
- Recipient: paste your Polygon address (0x…).
- You need a tiny amount of gas on the source chain (e.g., ETH on Ethereum/Arbitrum). Confirm.
- Wait 2–5 minutes. Verify on polygonscan.com by pasting your address.
Option C — Buy with Card
Get a little gas (POL/MATIC)
- Withdraw a small amount of MATIC to Polygon from your exchange, or
- Use Bungee Refuel to send a few dollars of gas to Polygon, or
- Ask a friend to send you 0.1 MATIC to your Polygon address.
Typical costs: Approve ≈ $0.002–$0.01 in gas; Pay ≈ $0.004–$0.01.
Make sure the token is visible in your wallet
Turn on Polygon versions of the tokens (Trust Wallet → Manage tokens → search or add custom token on Polygon):
- USDC (Polygon PoS):
0x2791Bca1f2de4661ED88A30C99A7a9449Aa84174(6 decimals) - USDT (Polygon PoS):
0xC2132D05D31c914a87C6611C10748AEb04B58e8F(6 decimals)
Before you pay
- Make sure your wallet is on Polygon (137). Nova Mart warns if you’re not.
- Approve the token amount first, then click Pay. The system automatically routes 5% to Nova Mart and 95% to the seller.
- Want to test? Use $1 Test Payment — you’ll see $0.05 go to fees and $0.95 to the recipient.
Troubleshooting
- “Wrong network”: Switch to Polygon in your wallet (the site shows a banner + switch button).
- “Insufficient funds for gas”: Add a little MATIC/POL for gas (see “Get a little gas”).
- “Allowance/Approval error”: Click Approve again for the exact amount (or use the $1 test).
- “Funds not visible”: Enable USDC/USDT (Polygon) in your wallet; verify on polygonscan.com.
Safety
- Never share seed phrases or private keys.
- Always test with a small amount first.
- Double‑check the network: it must say Polygon when you withdraw or bridge.
